Director of Surgical Services
Currently seeking a Director of Surgical Services in the northwestern area of Arizona.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience as well as management experience.

The responsibilities of the Director of Surgical Services include:
The Clinical Director is responsible for the direction, management and administration of the Unit.
Maintains adherence to hospital policies, procedures and regulations.
Participates in an interdisciplinary and inter-facility approach to achieving the mission, philosophy and goals of the facility.
Requirements of the Director of Surgical Services:
Graduate of an approved or accredited school of nursing.
BSN or healthcare related field preferred Current State of Arizona RN License.
Current CPR required Three to Five years clinical nursing experience along with management experience.
Must show potential ability for management of a Unit.
Demonstrates skills in communication, conflict resolution and human relations.
Must exhibit a team approach.
Must be knowledgeable of fiscal, general healthcare issues, trends, quality management and legal aspects of nursing practice and standards.
Must have knowledge and understanding of the entire aging process.
Must possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public.
Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.
Requires good interpersonal skills.
Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to function effectively in fast-paced environment with multiple demands/deadlines.
Position requires some overtime and ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
